Merit Psychology Group is hiring licensed psychologists and therapists to join our team. We are a private practice specializing in psychological assessment, therapy, coaching, and trauma-based consulting and therapy services for neurodiverse populations.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Merit Psychology Group therapy team, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Conducting group (if desired) and individual therapy with clients across the lifespan (children to older adults).
  • Maintaining up-to-date training on evidence-based treatment for these populations.
  • Abiding by California state and local law based on your licensure requirements and therapists’ ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, records privacy, communication with clients, communication with employer about any personal limitations or difficulties, and mandated reporting.

Work Location

The therapist’s residence will need to be in California, but if you are dually licensed in other states, this is a plus!

Minimum Qualifications

PhD, PsyD, LMFT, or LCSW will be considered for therapy positions.

Compensation

Compensation is $50 – $70 per hour DOE.

  • Full time: 30 hours per week full time (you can work past 30 hours if preferred)
  • Part-time: 15-hour expectation

W-2 Employment only–this is not a contractor position for either full or part-time roles.
